The Hands That Feed is a story about a Woman. Win Kurk, a 62 year old grandmother is the sole breadwinner in her house. Every morning without fail, she starts work at 7am preparing bamboo rice sticks. By noon, she is off selling the rice sticks she made earlier in the morning, clocking a distance of 30km on a rusty old bicycle. Despite the difficulties of life, Win Kurk appears unfazed by her circumstances as she struggles to support her alcoholic son and two grandchildren.
